About the Wivenhoe History Group

This website is created and managed by a group of volunteers from the Wivenhoe History Group.  The History Group was formed in 2013. Our members are interested in finding out more about Wivenhoe’s history through meetings, talks, visits and outings to places of interest.  To find out more about the Wivenhoe History Group click here. We’re always keen to see new members, so if you’re interested please contact us.

    Have you considered also uploading images to Wikimedia Commons? I think this is the best way to create a permanent record of something on the internet, without need to renew subscriptions, and without worries about no-login account deletion policies.
