Wivenhoe and Brightlingsea Railway

This book complements Paul Brown’s first book ‘The Fighting Branch’ about the Wivenhoe and Brightlingsea Railway, published in 1975. The author explains that he wrote the earlier book about the railway as a story about the five mile long, and five feet wide line which crossed the section of deserted marshland between the small towns of Wivenhoe and Brightlingsea.

This second book contains more technical information in the appendices for the benefit of railway specialists.
