WHG Meeting: December 2015 about the Nottage and its founder

This is an Open Meeting for all people interested in learning more about the Nottage Maritime Institute and its founder Captain Nottage who began it all in 1896. The ‘Nottage’ as it has become affectionately known has been an important part of Wivenhoe ever since. The talk will be given by Bernie Hetherington, Chairman of the Nottage Maritime Institute.

The meeting will be held in the Scout & Guide Hall (behind the Council offices) and it starts at 7.30pm.

As this is our Christmas meeting, we will be asking for a donation of £5 per person to cover room hire costs, mince pies, wine and soft drinks (£2.50 for non-drinkers).
