I bought this from a man in North Carolina USA and found your group when I was researching the artist, Gail Cross.

I bought this painting at a yardsale many years ago ( in North Carolina, USA) and have always loved it but never knew anything about the artist. I finally took the time to dig deeper and found your group. I thought I’d share this picture with you thinking you may enjoy knowing her work is well loved even outside the UK. The man I bought it from said it was named “The Tow Road” I believe and it shows the road the oxen would travel and tow barges along the river? The frame is about 31″x16″.
