This invaluable illustrated book (which has been produced in cooperation with the National Archives) is a direct successor to the author’s previous book ‘Old Title Deeds’ which is now out of print. It is available as a paper back (£10.78) but also as an ebook from kobo.com or as a Kindle book from Amazon (£3.99) which is very useful during the coronavirus lockdown. It’s intention is to explain the significance of deeds for students of local and family history, and more generally for wider aspects of history. Although there has been an explosion of online resources in recent years the deeds themselves are unchanged.
