Some family photos of Dennis Marsden, lecturer in Sociology at the University of Essex, braving the Regatta for the first time in July 1973, in his Mirror dinghy with the red sail, sailing in to Wivenhoe from Brightlingsea with his son Daniel and starting back to Brightlingsea with daughter Sarah and son Ben. We think the dinghy was named Topsy (although affectionately named Tipsy!).
