Pyefleet  CK28  26.86grt (9.24net) steel paddle steamer. 46.0’x16.0’x5.2′ (23′ over paddle boxes), 3’9″draft. 8mph.  Two C2cyl A. G. Mumford Ltd, Colchester 9″+18″x12″, boiler by Davey Paxman, Colchester. Launched on the 9th March 1895 by Mrs Edgerton Green the Mayoress of Colchester. C.7/1895 by Forrestt & Son Ltd at Wivenhoe for Colne Fishery Co. 48/64s & Colchester Borough Council 16/64s, Colchester. (ON 104489).  1/1/1914  12.09net.  11/1930 Scrapped at Heybridge.

423      Pyefleet II CK23  31.08grt (13.99net) steel river oyster dredge paddle steamer. 50’oa, 46.0’x16.05′ (23’2″ over paddle boxes) x5.2′, 4’6″draft. Engine room 19.4′. Two independent C2cyl 9″+18″x12″, total 90ihp.  C.9/1930 by Rowhedge Ironworks Ltd for Colne Fisheries Board, Brightlingsea 48/64s & the Mayor, Aldermen & Burgesses of Colchester 16/64s, Colchester. (ON 161499).  16/10/1936 Sold to Joshua Francis, Colchester.  7/3/1938 Sold to Alfred Harris Smith, Shenfield.  24/4/1942 Owner died, to Clarice Emma Smith.  9/4/1945 Sold to Henry Michael Sloan (army officer) of Richmond, Surrey.   10/5/1945
