There have been many people who have lived at Wivenhoe’s two groups of almshouses since Mary Ann Sanford had the ones built in Rebow Road in 1873 and the trustees of the Jonathan Feedham Charity had the bungalows built on a site off Vanessa Drive in 1974.
This page lists the names of these people in both sets of almshouses. Where a name is highlighted, click on it to know more about that person. This list is not intended to be a complete list but we will add names to it as the details of residents are researched or we are provided with them. Some pictures of these people may be found here if they were living in the Mary Ann Sanford almshouses and here if they were in Jonathan Feedham Court.
