WOMEN AT VARIANCE – Mrs. Florence Woods, Queen’s Road, Wivenhoe, was summoned by Miss Ida Mary Thomas, of Maltings Yard, Wivenhoe for assault on October 13. – Mr. F. G. Collinge defended, and pleaded not guilty. – The Chairman said the Bench considered that an assault had been committed, but under extreme provocation, and the case would be dismissed on payment of 4/- costs.
