This meeting will be a celebration of the first 5 years of the Wivenhoe History Group as well as a short talk by Michael Smither about what Wivenhoe man, William Oakley did over 100 years ago to earn him the Congressional Medal of Honour, the highest honour the Government of the United States can bestow.
The meeting is open to non-members as well as members.
Entry to the meeting is £5 which includes a glass of wine and a mince pie.
