After spending 50 years living in Leigh-on Sea, Essex, I moved to West Sussex where I have discovered in the past Barges similar to the Thames Barge were used for transporting goods to Chichester via Pagham, Bosham and Emsworth.
Although now in my late 80’s, I still make miniature models which naturally include the Thames barge. I have even built a model which I placed in an Old Dimple Whisky bottle complete with Turks Head and Ships half penny on the stopper.
In addition to the four Thames barges I have an additional 24 models of sailing ships in various scales. The problem of the moment what do I do with the large collection?
Is there any person out there that can help?
