390. Elizabeth CAUSTON of Wivenhoe, Widow, 1732. D/ACW 27/4/22

I Elizabeth Causton of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex Widow do make my last Will
And Testament in manner & form Following (that is to say) First I will order direct &
Appoint that all my Messuages Lands Tenements Hereditaments premises with their &
Every of their appurtences situate Lying & being in the parish of St. Leonard at the
Heith in Colchester shall be sold by my executrixes hereinafter named or the survivor of them
or the extors or adtors of such Survivor as soon as Conveniently may be after my Decease
for the best price they Can Gett for the same and the money arising by & from the sale
thereof I Dispose of as follows (vizt) Ten pounds part thereof I give & bequeath to my
brother Jonathan Feedham to be laid out in the purchase of a piece of plate Ten pounds
other part thereof I give & bequeath to my nephew Robert Durrell and Twenty pounds
other part thereof I Give & bequeath to my nephew John Durrell Children of my
sister Margery Durrell Item I give Devise & bequeath unto my two Sisters Margery
Durrell
& Leah Feedham & their heires for ever all that messuage or tenement
With the yards Gardens Orchards houses Outhouses Granaries Keys Wharfes and all
other the appurtenances whatsoever thereto belonging & adjoining or accepted reputed or
taken as part parcell or member thereof as the same are lying & being in Wivenhoe
aforesaid now in my own John Hunt & John Hulls Occupation – Chargeable
nevertheless and I do hereby Charge the same & every part thereof with the payment
of thirty pounds to my niece Margery Durrell fifteen pounds part thereof to be paid
her by her mother Margery Durrell and Fifteen pounds residue of the said thirty pounds
to be paid her by her Aunt Leah Feedham Item I Give to my said Sister Leah Feedham
a Large Silver Tankard and a fivepound piece of gold (a pair of Gold Buttons & all my Old Gold) Item I Give to my said niece
Margery Durrell a large Silver Cup with a Lid thereto All the rest & residue of
my Estate both reall & personall whatsoever & wheresoever I Give devise & bequeath
to be Equally divided between my said niece Margery Durrell & my said sister Leah
Feedham
and Lastly I do nominate & appoint my sister Margery Durrell & my
sister Leah Feedham exetrixes of this my will and Revoaking all others I Declare it to
be my last In Witness whereof I the said Elizabeth Causton have hereunto sett my
hand & seal this Twenty eight day of January in the fifth year of the reign of King
George the second & Annoq Dm 1731
