In the Name of God Amen
this eighth day of May in the thirteenth year of his Ma[jes]ties Reigne
William the third, by the grace of God King of England Scotland France
and Ireland etc and in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand Seaven
hundred and one I John Wigginer of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex
gent being sick and weak in body but of sound and perfect mind and
memory praise be given to God for the same and knowing the uncertainty
of this life on Earth and being desirous to settle things in order doe make
this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following that is
to say First and principally I commend my Soul to Almighty God my
Creator assuredly beleiveing that I shall receive full pardon and free
remission for all my sins and be saved by the precious death and merrits
of my blessed Saviour and Redeemer Christ Jesus and my body to the
Earth from whence it was taken to be buryed in such decent and
Christian manner as to my Executors hereafter named shall be
thought meete and convenient And as touching such Worldly Estate
Goods and Chattells as the Lord in mercy hath lent me my will and
meaning is the same shall be imployed and bestowed as hereafter
by this my Will Is expressed  Item I give and bequeath unto my
loveing Sonn Giles Wiggoner all and singular this my dwelling house
that I now live in with all the outhouses Kitchen Garden Store houses
and Key with all other the appurtenances there= to belonging with all
and singular by movable goods whatsoever unto him dureing his
naturall life and to his Heires lawfully begotten and at the age of
twenty yeares and conditionally that he my Son Giles paying all and
singular my Debts after my decease Alsoe I give unto my son Gills
all and singular my house and Lands with all the appurtenances thereto
belonging scituate and lying in Wolton upon the Nease to him and
his Heires dureing his or their naturall lives Alsoe a I give unto my
Son Giles one Meadow comonly called Brackett meadow lying and
being in the parish of St Gregory in Sudbury to him and his Heires
lawfully begotten and dureing his or their naturall lives And for
want of such Heires and after his or their decease the aforesaid Legacys
and Bequests I give unto my loveing daughter Sarah Wigginor and
her Heires lawfully to be begotten of her body and dureing her or
their naturall lives and after her or their decease the aforesaid premises
I give unto my Grandson John Lock and his Heires forever Item I give
unto my Son Giles all my Lands scituate lying and being in Peldon to him
and his Heires forever Item I give and bequeath unto my loveing
daughter Sarah Wigginer all and singular my house and Lands with
all the appurtenances thereunto belonging scituate lying and being in
West Masey and now in the occupation of John Cooke unto her and
her Heires forever Item I give bequeath unto my Grand-daughter
Anne Lock all and singular that house or Tenements now or late in the
tenure or occupation of Abraham Stebbing and Mr Ireland togeather

with all the appurtenances thereunto belong.[ing] lying and being in Wivenhoe
to her and her Heirs forever immediately after my decease and the
Revenue thereof to bring her up I also give unto my grand=daughter
Anne Locke all my Lands called Woodlands and the Timber thereon
to her and her Heires for ever Item I give and bequeath unto my
daughter Elizabeth the wife of Henry Coppinger all that house and
Lands belonging to it with the appurten[an]ces thereto belonging and
now in the occupation of Jno Mott except Woodlands and alsoe the
house and one Field belonging thereto that William Seabrook lives in
unto her and her Heires for ever Item I give and bequeath unto my
daughter Anne Locke all and singular the barn and stables togeather
with the Lands thereto belonging commonly called Boars or by any
other name or names whatsoever and now in the occupation of
William Seabrook (Except before excepted) unto her and her Heires
forever And as for my part or parts of Shipping Debts and Rents
due to me I give and bequeath the same unto my son Gills and my
daughter Sarah And of this my last will I make and ordaine my Son
and daughter Gills and Sarah my whole and sole Executors And doe
hereby utterly disallow revoake make void all and every other
former Testaments Wills Legacys and Bequests in any wise before this
time willed and bequeathed & ratifying and confirming this and none
other to be my last Will and Testament In witness whereof I have
here unto set my hand and seale in the day and yeare above written And
as for my son Robert I give him one shilling these words interlined
at my decease and Gills with the last Line added at or before the
sealing and delivering hereof:  John Wigginer / Signed Sealed
published pronounced and declared by the said Jno Wigginor as his
last Will and Testament in the presence of Tho. Quixley Abr[ah]am
Newton Senr his marke Edw: Jackson.
