In the name of God Amen I Elizabeth
Stephens
of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex widdow
do the Eighteenth Day of March in the Tenth year
of the Reign of our Soveign Lord George of great Britain
France and Ireland King Defender of the faith pt p
Anno Dom 1723
do make and ordain this my Last will and Testament
In manner following Item I give and Bequeath unto my
Son William Wade and his heirs for Ever all my Coppyhold
Messuages Lands and premises with all the Appurtenances
thereunto belonging, holden of the mannor of Wivenhoe
by Coppy of Court Roll but if my said Son William
Wade
shall Depart this Life before he attain to the Age
of one and Twenty years, then I give and bequeath all
my aforesd Coppyhold Messuages Lands and premises with the
Appurtenances there unto Belonging unto my Sister Mary
Cheasbrough
and her heirs for Ever she paying out thereof
the sum of Tenn pounds unto my Kinsman William King the
Son of Susanna King and one Guinnea to my Kinswoman Mary
King
to buy her a ring. Item I give unto my Son William Wade
all my houshold Goods money Linen and plate he paying and
Discharging my Debts and funeral Charges; but if my said Son
William Wade shall depart this Life before he attain to the age
of one and Twenty years then I give all my houshold Goods money
Linen and plate unto my sister Mary Cheasbrough And I do.
hereby make and ordain my Son William Wade and my Sister
Mary Cheasbrough to be Exectr and Executrix of this my Last Will
and testament and I do hereby make void all other former Wills & testaments
gifts Legacies and Exectors heretofore made. Rattifying and Confirming
this and none other to be my Last Will and testament. In Witness whereof
I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the Day and year first above Written
Signed Sealed published and Declared by the said
Elizabeth Stephens the Testatiix to be her Last
Will and testament in the presence of us
