547. John WOODS of Wivenhoe, Innkeeper, 1819. D/ACW 40/2/17

In the name of God Amen I John Woods of Wivenhoe in the
County of Essex Innkeeper being of sound and disposing mind
memory and understanding do this sixteenth day of March in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighteen
make and publish this my last Will and Testament in
manner and form following That is to say, I give and
bequeath unto my loving Wife Sarah Woods her Heirs Executors
Administrators and assigns All my Estate both real and
personal whatsoever and wheresoever and what kind and
nature soever with full possession under a Lease or
agreement held by me of the House I now live in
called or known by the name and sign of the Anchor
public House in the parish of Wivenhoe aforesaid, with
all my live and dead Stock House hold Goods and Furniture
plate Linen China and also the Stock in Trade with all my
Book Debts due and owing to me at the time of my decease
and I do hereby appoint my said Wife sole Executrix to this
my said last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and
other Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made
In Witness whereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set
and subscribed my hand and Seal the day and Year first
above written

Sarah Woods the sole Executrix
within named, was sworn to the truth of
this will, and to the true performance
thereof; and that to the best of her
knowledge, & belief the amount of the Goods,
Chattles, & Credits of the said deceased is
under the sum of Two Hundred Pounds.

Before the Revd Richard Hoblyn Clrk Surrog &c by the Oath of
Sarah Wood the Wd & the sole Executrix to whom Administration
