448. George DAVISON of Wivenhoe, Brewer, 1756. D/ACW 30/9/2

This is the Last Will and Testament of me George Davison of Wivenhoe in the
County of Essex Brewer made this first Day of December in the year of our Lord
One thousand seven hundred and fifty one in manner following (that is to say) First
I hereby authoriza and Direct my Executrix herein after named to sell as soon as
Conveniently may be after my Decease all that my copyhold Estate in Walton
In the said County for the best price that can be Gotten for the same and the money
arising thereby I will shall be applyed in Payment of my debts and for that purpose
only I Give and Devise that Estate to Elizabeth my wife Item I Give and Devise unto
xxxxxx my said Wife and her assigns for and During the Term of her natural
Life All my freehold and copyhold Estate in Wivenhoe aforesaid or Elsewhere
and Immediately from and after her Decease I Give and Devise all and every
my Real Estate unto my nephew George Davison of London Son of my Late
Brother Robert Davison Deceased and to the heirs and assigns of my said
Nephew Subject nevertheless and I do hereby Charge all my said Real Estate
As well freehold as Copyhold with Payment of one Annuity or yearly sum of twelve
Pounds of Lawfull mony of Great Britain without any Deduction whatsoever
Immediately from my Decease unto my Honoured Father and Mother for and
During the Term of their natural Lives and the Life of the Longer Liver of them
by half yearly payments with a power of Re-entry for nonpayment Item in
Case my Nephew Robert Davison shall be Living at the Decease of my said
wife Then I Give unto him one Hundred pounds of Like mony to be paid within
one year next after the Decease of my said wife by his Brother the said George
Davison my Nephew But if the said Robert my Nephew shall Die in the
Lifetime of my said wife Then my will is that his said Legacy shall cease and be void
Item I give my said nephews the sum of five Pounds apiece Item after payment
Of my Just Debts I Give unto my said wife for and During the Term of her
natural Life the sole use of xxx all my Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever
and wheresoever Relying entirely on her Fidelity in no wise to Embezill and
Diminish the same and Immediately from and after the Decease of my said
Wife I Give and Bequeath all my said Personal Estate unto my said nephew
George Davison absolutely and for ever And lastly I do nominate and
appoint my said Wife sole executrix of this my will so revoking all former
wills by me at any time heretofore made I do declare this to be my Last In
Witness ehereof I haveto this my Last will and Testament herein contained

P: Smythies Clerk lawfull Surrogate & by the oath
of Elizabeth Davison Widow the Relict of the said Deced
and Sole Executrix to whom Administration of all
and singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said
Deceased was granted and commited she being first
Sworn duly to administer
