570. Francis LILLEY of Wivenhoe, Husbandman, 1840. D/ACW 43/6/2

This is the last Will and Testament of me
Francis Lilley of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex
Husbandman which I make whilst of sound and disposing
mind memory and understanding First I direct my just
Debts Funeral and Testamentary Expences to be paid and satisfied
Next I give and bequeath unto my niece Sarah the wife
of Jacob Dennis of Colchester in the County of Essex Bootmaker
the sum of two hundred pounds and in the event of her
death in my lifetime I give and bequeath the same unto
the said Jacob Dennis. Also I give and bequeath  the same unto
my niece Maria Appleby of Great Horksley in the said County
of Essex the sum of One hundred pounds and to John
Appleby her husband son the sum of Fifty pounds Also I
give and bequeath to my Nephew John Warren of Great
Horksley the sum of Fifty pounds All which Legacies
I direct shall be paid as soon as conveniently may be after
my decease And as to all the rest and residue and remainder
of my Goods Chattels Monies Personal Estate and Effects
whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath the same unto
and between the said John Warren and to Mary Kettle
of Mile End share and share alikeAnd I nominate
constitute and appoint the said Jacob Dennis sole Executor
of this my Will And hereby revoking and making void
all former Wills this to be my last Will and

The Testator, have hereunto set my hand and seal the tenth
Day of June  One thousand eight hundred and

Jacob Dennis the sole Executor within named was
sworn to the truth of this will and to the true
performance thereof and that to the best of his
knowledge and belief the Goods Chattels and Credits
of the deceased do not amount to the sum of
Six hundred pounds
