454. Michael HARRISON of Wivenhoe, Sailmaker, 1760. D/ACW 31/3/1

In the Name of God Amen I Michael Harrison of
of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex, Sailmaker being in perfect
Hea[l]th and sound mind and Memory the Sixth Day of July in the year
of our Lord one thousand seven hundred fifty and two;  and in the twenty sixth
year of the Reign of King George the Second, Do make and ordain
this my Last Will and Testament in Manner and form following
First I Commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it
me; and my Body I Commend to the Earth to be Decently Buryed at the
Discretion of my Loving wife and as touching such worldly Estate as it
hath pleased God to bless me with I dispose thereof as followeth
I do hereby Give and Bequeath unto my sister Sarah Studd the sum of twenty
pounds, (or to heirs of her Body, if my said Sister be not Living) to be
to be paid to her or them within six months next after my Decease. All the rest of
my Goods and Chattles ready Money, Plate, Debts and Credits, or whatsoever
else shall at the time of my Decease belong unto me I give and Bequeath
unto Elizabeth my Loving wife; she paying my Just Debts and
funeral Charges; and probate of this my Last Will and testament
hereby revoking all former Wills, Legacies and Executors before named
And do hereby order and appoint, Elizabeth my Loving Wife to be
sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament ratifying
This to be and contain my Last will and Testament.  In Witness
Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Day and Year first
above written

This Will was Proved on the 5th day of January in the year of our
Lord 1760 before me the Revd Philip Morant Clk Surrogate &c by the Oath
of Elizabeth Harrison Widow the Relict of the Decd and Sole Executrix
to whom Admcon of all and Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of
the Sd Decd was Granted and Committed she being first Sworn duly
to Adn
