601. Samuel HUBBARD of Wivenhoe, Dissenting Minister, 1857. D/ACW 45/6/7

This is the last Will and Testament of me
Samuel Hubbard
of Wivenhoe, in the County of Essex
Dissenting Minister, which I make in manner following
that is to say I give and devise unto my dear wife Hannah
Sewell Hubbard, All and every my Messuages, Lands Tenements
and Hereditaments, of whatever nature kind or quality soever
the same may consist, or wheresoever situated, To hold to her
my said Wife her heirs and assigns absolutely and for ever
Also I give and bequeath All my Household Furniture, Plate,
Linen, China, Monies, Surities, for money and all other my
personal Estate and Effects, whatsoever and wheresoever (subject
to the payment of my just Debts and my Funeral and
testamentary expences) Unto my said Wife to and for her
own use and benefit absolutely.  And I appoint my said
dear wife Hannah Sewell Hubbard and my friend John
Wright Farmer of Wivenhoe, aforesaid, to be Executrix and
Executor of this my will And hereby revoking all wills
heretofore made I publish and declare this to be my last
Will and Testament, in Witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seal the thirtieth day of May in
the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and
fifty six.

1857.
Hannah Sewell Hubbard of Colchester in
Essex widow was sworn the Executrix within
named was sworn to the truth of the within
will and to the due Execution thereof and
that to the best of her knowledge and belief
the Goods Chattels and Credits of which the
deceased died possessed without deducting
any thing on account of his debts did not
amount to the sum of One hundred pounds

The deceased died
at wivenhoe in the
County of Essex on
the 12 day of September
1856

Proved on the 6th day of February 1857 before
the Reverend Mesach Seaman D D Surrog:
&c by the oath of Hannah Sewell Hubbard
one of the Executors to whom Admon &c was
granted she being first sworn duly to
administer power being reserved &c to
John Wright the other Executor when he
shall apply for the same.
