464. Ann TILL of Wivenhoe, Widow, 1763. D/ACW 31/6/18

In the Name of God Amen I Ann Till of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex Widow
being of perfect mind memory and understanding and considering the uncertainty of the time
of our departure from this Life do therefore make and ordain this my last will and testament in
manner following (that is to say) I commit soul to almighty God and my Body to the Earth
there to be Decently Buried according to the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named and for my
wordly estate and goods I give as follows (that is to say) I give & bequeath to my Daughter Ann
Till
all that Copyhold Tenement with the appurtenances late in the occupation of my son Hugh Till
and situate in Wivenhoe aforesaid, and to my son John Till I give and Bequeath all that Copyhold
messuage or Tenement with the appurtenances now in his own occupation and situate in Wivenhoe aforesaid together with
all and singular the Great Kitchen and Chamber over it with the Garden thereunto adjoining and
all and singular my Brewing Copper and all other my Brewing Utensils I likewise give to my
Grand Daughter Mirabilia Till one small Draper Table Cloth and six Draper napkins marked HTA
I likewise give and bequeath to my said Grand Daughter Elizabeth Till Eight pounds to be paid
by my Executors when she is fourteen years of age and to my Daughter Ann Till I give and
bequeath all and singular my Household Furniture and Linen and wearing apparel and
the remainder of my Estates both real and personal I give to be sold and (after paying my just
Debts, and funeral charges) to be Equally Divided between my two Daughters Ann Till and Mary
Cockshead
and do appoint my son John Till and my daughter Ann Till joint Executor & Executrix
to this my Last Will and Testament In trust for the purposes above mentioned revoking and setting
aside all former and other will whatsoever by me made declaring this to be my last will & Testament
in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of June in the second
year of the Reign of our sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God of Great Britain
France and Ireland King Defender of the faith &c and in the year of our Lord one thousand
seven hundred and sixty two.

September 7th 1763 John Till the within named Executor & Ann Till the
within named Executrix were sworn to the truth of this Will and to the
due performance thereof
before me

This Will was proved on the Seventh day of September in the year of our Lord 1763 Before the Reverend George Kilby Clerk Surrogate
by the oaths of John Till and Ann Till Spinster Son and Daughter of the Deceased and Executors to whom Admcon of all and singular the Goods Chattels
and Credits of the said Deceased was Granted and Committed on the Tenth day of the said Month of September they being first sworn duly to Administer.
