398. Thomas WHITLEY of Wivenhoe, Fisherman, 1733. D/ACW 27/5/38

In the Name of God Amen:  I Thomas Whitly
of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex Fisherman: being in perfect
health and Memory at the sealing hereof do this Seventh Day
of October 1732  make and ordaine this my last Will & Testament
In manner and form following first I Commend my Soul
To Almighty God and my Body to the Earth to be decently
Buried at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named
Item I give unto my Kinsmen, Thomas Whitly, Joseph
Witly, George Witly, and Samuel Whitly, each of then one
shilling to be paid immediately after my decease
Item I give unto my Kinsman William Maud, and his sister
Ann, each one Shilling to be paid them after my Decease
when Demanded Item I Give and Bequeath unto Mary my
Loving wife all my Goods and Chattels; Smack, Boat, and
Appurtenances whatsoever to the same belonging, ready mony
and Debts that shall be due and owing to me at the time of my
Decease: she paying my Just Debts and funeral Charges
and Legacies out thereof and I do hereby revoke, renounce
make void all former Wills Testaments and Legacies hereto
made ratifying and confirming this & none other and I do
hereby Constitute and appoint Mary my Loving wife to be
Executrix of this my Last Will and testament In Witness
Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the day and
Year above written
