447. Margaret REDHEAD of Wivenhoe, Widow, 1755. D/ACW 30/8/21

In the Name of God Amen I Margaret Redhead of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex widow being weak in
Body but of Sound and perfect mind and memory do this Fifth Day of May One thousand Seven hundred and
Fifty five make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following First I commend
My soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my Body I Commend to the Earth to be Decently
Buried by my two Daughters at their Discretion, and as to such wordly goods as it hath pleased God to bless me with
I dispose thereof as followeth I do herby give and bequeath to my Daughter Elizabeth Munkin and her Heirs
for Ever all that my Copyhold Tenement together with the yard garden and appurtenances to the same belonging now in the
Occupation of my son in law William Munkin together with freegress Egress and Regress to the Common Pump (for all my Tenements)
which is in the back yard of the Tenement in which Argor Howes now Liveth; paying their part for and toward the support
and repairing of the said Pump.  I Also give to my Daughter Mary Barker and her Heirs for Ever all my Copyhold Tenements
where I now Dwell together with the yard and garden with the appurtenances thereto belong with free Liberty to go and
take water at and from the common pump at Argor Howes paying their part in proportion for the repairing and support of the said pump
with the other Tenants.  I also give to my Daughter Mary Barker and her Heirs for Ever all my half part of my
Copyhold Tenament together with the half part of the appurtenances now in the Occupation of John Harlow together
With free Liberty to and from the said pump.  I alsoGive, to my Daughter Mary Barker the sum of Fifteen pounds upon
Condition that my said Daughter Mary Barker do give up all her right and title of he half part of that Copyhold Tenement
Now in the Occupation of Argor Howes, unto her Sister Elizabeth Munkin and her Heirs.  All the rest of my goods, and
Effects whatsoever that shall belong or in any wise appertain unto me at the time of my Decease, I Giveto be
Equally parted between my two daughters Elizabeth Munkin and Mary Barker or their Heirs they paying my Burying
Charges, and the Probate of my Last Will and Testament:  Revoking all former Wills and
Testaments, ratifying and confirming this and none other in Witness whereof I the said I the said Margaret
Redhead the Testratrix have here unto set my hand and seal the Seal the Day and year above written
