544. Richard ELSWORTHY of Wivenhoe, 1817. PROB11 1596/305

In the Name of God Amen
This is my last will and Testament of me Richard Elsworthy now
in the parish of Wivanhoe in the County of Essex made in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventeen know
all Men that I Richard Elsworthy doth give and bequeath unto
my ungrateful Wife Mary Elsworthy the Sum of one shilling
I likewise give and bequeath unto my Daughter Martha
the sum of ten pounds and it is my desire that my good and
faithful Friend Elizabeth Harper should be in businese with
my two sons Richard and John Elsworthy to enjoy my stuff
in trade Cash and all other effects that i shall have at my
death and if at any time thay cant agree my two sons
Richard and John to give my good and faithful Friend
Elizabeth Harper ten pr cent out of all the property they
shall have at that time and my two sons to share the remainder
share and share alike And I do desire that my Brother Wm
Elsworthy to be sole Executor.  Signed by me Richd Elsworthy

Richard Henry Cresswell Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the
Oath of Willliam Elsworthy the brother and sole executor to whom
Administration was granted having been first sworn duly to Administer
