405. Richard CRISPE of Wivenhoe, late of Marks Tey, Wheelwight, 1736. D/ACW 28/3/19

In The Name of God I Richard Crispe now of Wivenhoe and late of
Marks Tey in the County of Essex Wheelwright being of Sound Mind and
Undestanding Blessed be God for the same do make my Last Will & Testament
As follows (vizt) my soul I resigne to God & my body to private Christian
Burial at the Discretion of my Executors herein after named And as to my
Wordly Estate I dispose thereof as Follows (that is to say) I give & bequeath
All my all my Wearing Apparel Whatsoever to be Equally divided between my
Son John Crispe and my Son in Law Thomas Gooday husband of my Daughter
Frances and I also give to my said Daughter Frances the Bed Whereon I
usually Lye with the Bedstead bedding & all the Covering and furniture thereto
belonging as it stands Item I give and bequeath to John Ambrose of
Copford in the County of Essex aforesaid yeoman and William Carter of
Marks Tey aforesaid Wheelwright and to their heirs my three Tenements
scituate in Marks Tey now in the occupations of Martha Mascall Widdow
William Rayner and the Widdow Hull In Trust nevertheless that they
the said John Ambrose and William Carter or the Survivor of them or their
Heirs of such Survivor Shall So Soon after my Decease as Conveniently
May be Sell the Same for the best price that Can be Gotten for the Same
And the Money arising by Such Sale my will is shall be disposed of
Xxxx of and paid in Manner Following (that is to say) that my
Executors or the Survivor of them or the heirs of Such Survivor
Shall Divide the Same into Six Equal parts and Shall pay the same
as Follows one sixth part thereof to be equally paid to and
Amongst such of the Children of my Daughter Sarah Finsham as
shall be living six years after my Decease And one other Sixth
part thereof to such of the Children of my Daughter Susanna
Carter as shall be Living Six Yeares after my Decease And one
Other Sixth part to such of the Children of my Daughter Elizabeth
Wommack
as shall be Living Six Yeares next after my Decease
One other Sixth part to my son John Crispe to be paid to him Six
Yeares after my Death and if hee be dead then to be paid to and
Amongst his Children One Sixth part to my Son George Crispe to be
paid to him Six Yeares after my Decease and if he be then dead to
and amongst his Children (if he then shall have any) and if he be
then Dead & Leaving no Child Then to be paid to and Amongst all my
Grandchildren as shall be then Living and the Remaining sixth
part to my said Daughter Frances Gooday to be paid to her Within
Six Yeares next after my Decease And if She be Dead to be paid to &
Amongst all her children that shall be then Living And my Will
further is that in Case any of my Grandchildren shall be under
Age when their respective Legacys shall become due that my
Said Executors Shall pay the same into their proper hands
of Such Infant Legatee or Legatees and that his her or their acquittance
or acquittances shall be a Sufficient Discharge to my Executors for
the Same and I also hereby revoake all Wills be me heretofore
made and Declare this to be my Last And of this my Will I do
Constitute & appoint the Said John Ambrose and William Carter
to be my Executors In witness whereof I have hereunto Sett my
hand and Seale the four and Twentyeth Day of October in the
year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred Thirty & Three

To be the Last Will & Testament of the

Subscribed our names as witnesses
