437. Robert KEMPTON of Wivenhoe, Gentleman, 1749. D/ACW 30/2/13

In the Name of God Amen I Robert Kempton of
Wivenhoe in the County of Essex Gentleman being weak of Body but
Of sound and perfect memory do make and ordain this my last will
And Testament in manner following First I Commend my soul into the
Hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my Body I commend
to the Earth to be Decently Buried at the discretion of my Executors herein
after named, and as touching such wordly goods as it hath
pleased God to bless me with I Dispose thereof as follweth
I do hereby Give and Bequeath unto Mrs Elizabeth Buttler of
Wivenhoe single woman the sum of three hundred pounds
I also Give to Mary Neale my present Servant the sum of tenn
Pounds.  I also give to Sarah Milbank of the parish of Saint
Leonards parish in the Town of Colchester the sum of Fifty pounds
I also give to Peter Buttler the sum of five pounds, I do hereby
Give unto Each of my Executors for their trouble in Executing the said
office the sum of Twenty pounds a piece I also give to the
poor of the parish of Wivenhoe the Sum of ten pounds.  I also Give
the rest of my Goods and Chattles not before Bequeathed unto my
Relation John Currant.  A+nd do hereby appoint my Friends Mr
George Davison of Wivenhoe and Mr John Kirby of Saint
Leonards in the Town of Colchester to be Executors of this my last
Will and testament revoking all former Wills Legacies and Executors
before made ratifying and confirming this to be and contain my
last Will and Testtament In Witness whereof I have hereunto nsett my
hand and seal the Twentieth Day of March one thousand seven
Hundred forty Eight
