503. John TILL of Wivenhoe, Mariner, 1783. D/ACW 34/6/7

This is the last Will and Testament of me John Till of Wivenhoe in the
county of Essex Mariner as follows First I give and devise unto my son John Till of
Thorpe in the Soken in the Grocer and his Heirs and Assigns
forever All and every my real estates whatsoever and wheresoever with their and
every of their Appurtenances Upon Condition nevertheless that my said son John
Till
his heirs and Assigns shall and do from time to time during the natural Life of
my dear wife Martha pay all the Rents Issues and profits that shall arise therefrom
after deducting the Taxes Repairs Quitrents and other necessary outgoings to my said wife and
her assigns for her and their own Use and Benefit, Also I give to my said wife and
her Assigns for her and their own use and Benefit, Also I give to my said wife and her assigns
the full and free use of all my Household Furniture Plate Linen China and Implements of Household
whatsoever for and during the term of her natural Life and from and immediately after her Decease
I give the same to be equally divided between my said son John and my daughter Mirabella
the wife of George Spilling of Lavenham in the County of Suffolk Officer in the Excise, Also my will
is that the fine and fees on my said son’s admission to my Copyhold Estates shall be paid out of
my personal Estate, Also my mind and will is that my Executors hereinafter named shall
after the payment of my just Debts Funeral Charges and the charges of proving and attending
the execution of this my will place out at interest all the residue of my personal Estate and
pay the Divedends Interest and produce thereof from time to time to my said wife and her
assigns for and during the term of her natural life and from and immediately after her
Decease I give the same to my said son John Till and my said Daughter
Mirabella Spilling to be equally Divided between them share and share
alike And Lastly I do Nominate constitute and Appoint my said
son John Till sole executor of this my will and I do hereby revoke all
former wills by me at any time heretofore made and do publish and declare
this to be my last will and Testament contained in two sheets of paper In

Witness whereof I have to each sheetset my Hand and Seal this twenty second day
of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty two

The said John Till died the 24 of August 1782
in the Parish of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex

Proved on the Seventeenth Day of February in the Year
of our Lord 1783 before the Reverend John Smythies Clerk
Surrogate &c by the Oath of John Till sole Executor to whom
Adion &c was Granted having first sworn duly to Administer
