326. Rachell WADE of Wivenhoe, Widow, 1704.  D/ACW 23/68

In the Name of God Amen this seventeenth day of Aprill in the Third year of the
reigne of our sover Lady Ann by the Grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland, Queen
defend of the Faith anno Dom 1704  I Rachell Wade of Wivenhoe in the county of Essex Widow
being sick and weake in body but of sound and perfect memory praise be given to God for the
same and knowing the Incertainty of this life on earth and being desierous to settle things in
Order do make this my last will and testamt in manner and form following tht is to say
first and principally I commend my Soul to Almighty God my creator assury believing
that I shall receive full pardon and free remision of my sins and to be saved by the precious
death and Marrits of my blessed Saviour and Redeemer Christ Jesus and my body to the
Carth from whence it was taken to be buried in such decent and Christian Manner as to my
exor hereafter Named shall be thought meet and Convenient and as touching such worldy
estate Goods & chattles as the Lord in Mercy hath lent me my will and meaning is the same
shall be Imployed and bestowed as hereafter by this my will is expressed and where as I
have one part of the good vescell or pint called the good will my desire is tt part shall be sold
together will with all and singular my Moveable Goods whatsoever Excepting my wareing Clothes
linnen & wooling by my exer. Immediatly after my decease to pay and Discharge all my
debts and funnerall Charges, and what money shall arise overpluce after my sd Debts being clear
I Give to be Equally divided between my son Willi Wade and my daughter Rachell Swan the wife of
Benjamen Swan share and share alike they allowing my Excutr Reasonable Charges & Expences
as shall arise thereby or therein and I do hereby make any Ordayn my Loving friend 1
John Cook senr of Masey [Mersea] my full & whole Exer: and do hereby utterly disallow revoake and make
void all other will legacies and bequests by me formerly made and this only to be my last will &
testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the day and year first
above Written and further my will is at & before the sealing before hereof
that my wareing Clothes linen & woolling Exceipted aforesaid I give unto my daughter Rachell Swan
and alsoe my Bed and Furniture I now Lye upon
