In the Name of God Amen
I Thomas Moulder later with her in the County of Essex
Butcher now belonging to His Majesty’s Ship the Prince Man
of War calling to Mind the uncertainty of this Mortal Life
do this twenty fifth Day of March one thousand seven
hundred fifty five make and ordain this my last will and
Testament in manner following First I give my Soul into the
Hands of Almighty God who gave it me and my Body I
commend to the Earth or Sea as it shall please God to
appoint And as to such Worldly Goods as it shall please
God to endow me with at the time of my Decease I
Dispose thereof as followeth I do hereby devise and
bequeath unto my loving Sister Lydia Moulder of the parish
of Saint Edwards in the town Cambridge Single Woman
all my Goods and Chattels ready Money Debts Credits Wages
Tickets Prize Money or whatsoever that shall in right belong
or in any wise appertain unto me at the time of my
Decease she paying my just Debts and Funeral Charges
if any hereby revoking all former Wills Legacies and
Executors before ratifying and confirming this to be my
Last Will and Testament and do hereby appoint my said
Sister Lydia Moulder to be Sole Executrix of this my last
Will and testament in Witness whereof I the said Thomas
Moulder the Testator have hereunto set my Hand and
Seal the day and year first above written Thomas
Moulder signed Sealed published and declared by the
Said Thomas Moulder in Wivenhoe Above written to be
and contain his last Will in our presence
and we witness the same in his presence Mary Morris

This Will was proved at London before the
Right Worshipful George Hay Doctor of Laws Master Keeper
or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully
constituted on the twenty sixth Day of August in the year of
Our lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty seven by
the oath of Lydia Moulder otherwise Moulders Spinster the
Sister of the deceased and sole Executrix named in the said
Will to whom Administration was granted of all and
Singular the Goods Chattels and Credits of the said deceased
She having been first sworn by commission duly to administer
The Probate of of a pretended Will of a later date of the deceased

heretofore to wit, in the Month of October one thousand
seven hundred and sixty obtained by Austis Moulders Widow
The Relict of the said deceased the sole Executrix named in
the said pretended Will having been revoked and together
with the said pretended Will declared null and void As by the
Acts of Court more fully appears ./.
