340. Nathaniel BEARDWELL of Wivenhoe, Butcher, 1711.  D/ACW 24/27

In the Name of God amen I Nathanill Beardwell of Wivenhoe
in the County of Essex Butcher being sick and weak in Body but
of sound and perfect mind and Memory do make & declare
my Last will and testament in manner Following I Resigne
my soule to Almighty God hoping for mercy on the alone
accompt of Christ merits and my body I will be Christian-
like Burried and of my worldly Goods & Chattles which God
in his Mercy hath pleased to Intrust me with: I Give and devise
unto my loving Friend Mary Redman the Daughtr of Sarah Redman of
Wivenhoe wid the sume of Five Guinnneys or Five pounds seven shilli
& sixpence to be paid to her by my Execut: within Three Months after
my decease Item I give unto my Loving Mother the sume of tenn
pounds Item I give unto my Brother George Beardwell the sume
of Tenn pounds Item I give unto my Brother Thomas Beardwill
the sume of Tenn pounds all my Book Debts Bills Bonds & all other
assits which is due and in wright belong unto me I give unto my Brother
George Beardwell provided he discharges my funerall Charges and
of any overpluce should happen after my debts & Funerall is dischar
ged I Give unto my Brother John Beardwell the sume five pounds
and of this my last will I make & ordaine my Loving Brother
George Beardwell my whole & sole Executor and my loving friend
Mr Grange of Langham Lodge Supervisor to this my Last will and
testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and
seale this twenty seventh day of March in the tenth year of the
reigne of our sover lady Queen Anne of Great Brittaine
