In the Name of God Amen I Thomas
Thorne
of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex Yeoman being sick in Body
But of sound Mind do make ordaine and appoint this my
last Will and Testament in manner following That is to
say committing my Soul into the hands of my heavenly
Father and hoping for everlasting Salvation through the
Alone merits of his Son Jesus Christ I do by this my
Last Will and Testam[en]t give unto my Loving Wife
Elizabeth Thorne all and Singular Such Goods
and Chattles as are in the house or upon the Farm
where I now live or else where unto me belong-
ing and appertaining as also all monys Bills Bonds
Debts or other movables whatsoever together with
the Lease of the Farm where I now live the s[ai]d Goods
and Chattles Mony Bills bonds Debts and other
movables together with the lease of the Farm
where I now live to be by her the said Elizabeth
enjoyed and possessed immediately after my decease for ever
and by her to be disposed of at any time afterwards
as she shall think fit without the lett claim or
hinderance of any person or persons whatsoever
and I do hereby constitute and appoint the sd Eliza-
beth Thorn
sole executrix to this my last Will
and Testam[en]t revoking all other wills by me formerly
made I declare this to be my last In Witness
whereof I have hereunto sett my hand ans seal this
twentieth day of December in the fifth year
of the Reign of Our Sovereign King George and in the
year of our Lord 1718.
