This is the last Will
and Testament of me Benjamin Page the Younger
of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex Gentleman made
at the time of my being of sound and disposing
Mind Memory and understanding thanks be to God
for the same First I give and bequeath unto my

Sister Elizabeth now the wife of Jeremiah Easter of
Tollesbury in the said County Coal Merchant All the
Interest proceeds and Dividends arising from the Sum
of One thousand pounds which I now have in the
four per Cent Bank Stock Annuities for her sole and
seperate use until her youngest daughter Ann Easter shall attain
the age of twenty one years Then I order and Direct
that the said sum of One thousand pounds shall be
equally divided between my said Sisters Children namely
Elizabeth Maria Ann Jeremiah and the said Ann
and John and Mary Belstead the two Children of
Marchent Belstead of Tolleshunt Buckingham
in the said County Husbandmen part and share alike
But in case the said Ann Easter shall not live to
attain the said age of twenty one years then my
Will and desire is that such distribution shall not
be made until Jeremiah Easter another of the
children of my Sister Elizabeth Easter shall have
attained the said age of twenty one years and so in
Succession and that the part or share or parts or shares
of such Child or Children so dying under age as afors[ai]d
shall go and be equally divided amongst the
Survivors or Survivor of them and if all of them
should happen to die under this said age of twenty
one years then I give and bequeath their parts
and shares of the said sum of one thousand pounds
unto my said sister Elizabeth Easter for her own use
and disposal and the other two parts or shares thereof
I order and direct shall be then paid to the said
John and Mary Belstead also I give and bequeath
unto the said Marchant Belstead and Sarah Corder
of Wivenhoe aforesaid widow two several Annuities or
clear yearly sums of ten pounds a year each for and
during the term of their natural lives to be paid
them by half yearly payments to wit on Christmas
Day and Midsummer Day the first payment thereof to
commence and be made on such of the said days as
shall first happened next after my decease and I do
hereby order and Direct that the sum of Five hundred
pounds other part of the said summer Fifteen hundred
pounds shall stand and remain in the said stocks in
my name during the lives of the said Marchant
Bellstead and Sarah Corder In Trust and to the
Intent that my Executor hereinafter name do and
shall pay them their said Annuities as the same shall
become due out of the Interest proceeds and
Dividends arising therefrom and that the said
Sum of Five hundred pounds so remaining
in the said stocks (that is to say)
the sum of two hundred and Fifty
pounds on the death of the said Marchent Belstead
and the remaining sum of Two hundredand Fifty
pounds on the death of the said Sarah Corder shall
go and be to the same use and divided in the same
Manner as the said sum of One thousand pounds
is hereinbefore directed Also give and bequeath
unto the said Marchent Belstead my Silver Watch
and also all my Wearing Apparel Shirts Neckcloths
and handkerchiefs of every kind also I give and
bequeath unto the said Sarah Corder All my Household
Goods Plate Linen and China for her own use and
disposal And as to all the rest residue and remainder of
my Moneys Goods Chattels Rights Credits Effects and
Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever which I
now am or shall be possessed of or entitled unto at
the time of my decease (after payment of my Just
Debts Funeral Expenses and Charges attending the Excution
of this my will) I give and bequeath the same unto
my said Sister Elizabeth Easter for her own use and
disposal And my will and desire is that my Body
shall be decently interred in the Church Yard of
Tolleshunt Beckingham aforesaid and in default thereof
that my said sister shall pay to the then Minister
Churchwardens or overseers of the parish of Wivenhoe
aforesaid or their successors the sum of Fifty pounds to be by them
distributed in Bread amongst the poor of the said
Parish And lastly I do hereby make nominate constitute
and appoint the said Jeremiah Easter sole Executor of
this my Will and hereby revoking all former and
other Wills by me at any time heretofore made do
publish and declare this to be my last In witness
whereof I the said Benjamin Page have to this
my last Will and Testament contained in three sheets
of paper set my hand and seal to each sheet and
my seal to the Label by which they are affixed
together this eleventh day of September in the Year
of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and ninety

and Declared by the said Benjamin Page the
Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the
presence of us and by us attested as witnesses
thereunto at his requeast and in his presence and in
the presence of each other

This Will was proved at london the thirtieth
day of September in the Year of our Lord One thousand
eight hundred and one before the worshipful Samuel
Pearce Parson Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right
Honourable Sir William Wynne Knight also Doctor of
Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative
Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the Oath
of Jeremiah Easter the sole Executor named in the said
will to whom Administration of all and singular
Goods Chattels and Credits of the deceased was granted
having been first sworn duly to administer.
