392. Sarah MADDER wife of Richard MADDER of Wivenhoe, Yeoman, 1732. D/ACW 27/4/27

In the Name of God Amen I Sarah Madder wife of Richard Madder of Wivenhoe in the
County of Essex Yeoman, do by virtue of a power to me received upon my intermarriage with my now
Husband Make this my last will and testament in manner following (that is tp say) Imprimis I do give and
Bequeath all that freehold Messuage with the Lands and Appurtenances there unto Belonging Scituate in the Lying & being
in Abberton in the County of Essex now in the occupation of Saml Luffe or his Asignes and also all that freehold
Messuage or Tenement with the Malting office out houses Lands and Appurtenances thereunto Belonging Scituate in the
Parish of Saint Leonard in Colchester now in the occupation of Robert Chignal or his Assigns unto my Son Martin
Harrington
and his heirs for Ever.  Item I give and Bequeath all my Messuages or Tenements with the Lands and
appurtenances to the same Belonging Scituate and being in the Parish of St. Leonard in Colchester aforesd in a yard Called
or known by the Name of Oak yard to my son Martin Harrington and his heirs for Ever he paying out thereof to
my grand Daughter Sarah Harvey the sum of fifty pounds of Lawful British money when she attain the Age of
twenty-one years or on the Day of Marriage which shall first happen.  And for nonpayment thereof the sd Sarah
Harvey
to reenter upon the sd premises and the same to sell and Dispose of rendering the overplus to the sd Martin
Harrington
and his heirs the Charges of Selling to be Deducted out of the overplus.  Item I do hereby give to my Husband
Richard Madder the sum of five pounds yearly during the the time he Continue unmarried to be paid him by my Son
Martin Harrington quarterly as it becomes due out of the sd messuages in the oak yard aforesaid and for Non payment thereof
it shall be Lawful for him to reenter on the sd premises and Distain the Goods and Chattels or any part of the sd premises for the
payment of the sd Annuity .  And I do hereby order and appoint my son Martin Harrington to pay out of the sd Oak yard
Estate the sum of five pounds to my Daughter in law Mary Harrington.  Item I give and Bequeath unto my Grand
Daughter Sarah Harvey and her heirs for ever all my part of that house or Tenement with the appurtenances thereunto
Belonging scituate in St Leonards Parish aforesd Late in the occupation of the widow Butler Deceased.  Item I give
unto my said grand Daughter Sarah Harvey all my Household Goods Linen and plate.
Item I give and Bequeath unto my Son John Harrington and his heirs for ever all my Copyhold Messuages Lands
and tenements with their appurtenances scituate and being in Grinstead in Colchester.  Item I give unto my son John
Harrington
and his Heirs for ever all my Copyhold Messuages Tenement Lands and premises with their appurtenances
holden of the mannour of Wivenhoe by Copy of Court roll And I do hereby order and appoint my husband
Richard Madder to receive for his own use the rents of all my Estate whatsoever to the next Quarter day after
my Decease and I do hereby Nominate and appoint my husband Richard Madder to be Sole Exector of
this my Will and Testament.  I do hereby revoke all former wills and Testaments heretofore made
Rattifying and Confirming this to be and Contain my Last Will and Testament In witness whereof
I the sd Sarah madder the Testator have hereunto Set my hand and Seal the Sixteenth Day of
August Anno Dom one thousand Seven hundred thirty & two
Signed Sealed Published and Declared by the
Said Sarah Madder the Testatrix to be her last Will
And Testament in our presence and attested
By us in her presence
