429. Edward SAGE the Elder of Wivenhoe, Butcher, 1811. D/ACW 39/2/22

In the Name of God Amen this is My Last Will and Testament of Me
Edward Sage of Wivenhoe the Elder  Butcher, in the County of Essex First I Will and Order
that All My Just Debts and My Funeral Charges and the Probate of this my will be fully
Satisfied and Paid by my Executor and Executrix Hearafter Mentioned out of my
Personal Estate With in twelve months After My Decease Which being don[e] I give Devise
and Bequeath to My Well beloved Wife Ann Sage all and singular my Estates and Effects
Whatsever Both Real and Personal to hould to her the said An Sage During the turm of her
Natural Life and After her Dec[e]ase I Give and Devise to My two sons Edward and
William Carrington. Sage and My three Daughters Ann Elizabeth and Mary Sage All My Personal
And Real Estates to be Equally Parted between them share and share Alike and do Nominate
And Appoint John & Thomas Carrington and Ann Sage My Wife My Joint Executors And
Executrix of this My Will Declaring this Onley to be My Last Will and Testament
Hereby Revoking All Other Wills by Me heretofore Made In Witness Heareof
I have Hereunto set My Hand and seal this Eight Day of February 1802
Signed Sealed published and Decleared
by the said Testator Edward Sage
the Elder as and for his last Will and
Testament in the presence of us Who
in his presence and at his Request
have here unto subscribed our names
