In the name of god Amen I Mary
Ketteridge widow of the parish of wivenhoe
in the county of Esex being of good understanding
dow make this my last will and testement in
in maner and forme folloing first I comend
my soll intow the hands of allmighity god
hoping for sollvasion throw the merit of Jesus
crist and my body to be desently to be buried
at the decresion of my after named excetors
and as sow the worly goods the Lord hath
ben plesed tow bestow upon me I despose
of as folowth It I give my copyhold hous
and land liing in wivenhoe called
brockmans now in the occupashen of
? allen to my son Bezekiel? Ketteridge
and likwise the shop that standes in the
yard wheare I now live
It I give my said sone the some of
Thirty pounds that is ten pounds to be payd
him when he is 21 yers of adg and
the other 20 when he is twenty four yers of
adg It I give untow my dagter
Elizabeth copy hould house and landu called sharps
lieng in wivenoe likewise I give unto the
said elizabeth she som of fifty pounds when she shall
atayn the adg of 21 yers It I give my
housall goods to be devided be twine them
acording to the decresions of my exceters
and I dow nomenant and apoynt my
brother William Downes and of Elmstead
and John baker of colchester my soll?
