The Last Will and Testament of Robert
Houtchin Day
of Wivenhoe in the County of Essex yeom
made this Thirteenthe day of February in the yeare of our
Lord God One thousand seven hundred and twenty one as
followeth Imprimis & Give and bequeath my soule into
the hands of Allmiglty God who gave it me hoping through
the merritts of my blessed Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
to obtaine Everlasting life and my body I Comitt to
the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my
Executrix herein after named, Item I Give and bequeath
unto my Brother James Day the sume of ten pounds to
be paid to him within One yeare after my son Robert
Houtchin Day’
s Decease in Case my said son shall Dye
before he shall attaine to the Age of seven yeares but
if he lives to the Age of seven yeares then this
bequest to be void Item all the rest residue and ie
remainder of my Goods Chattles ready mony and
personall Estate whatsoever and wheresoever being
after my debts Leagacys and Funerall Charges paid
and satisfied I give and bequeath unto my Loving wife
Hannah whom I Doe hereby make and ordaine to be
full and sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament
Thus revoaking all other wills by me formerly made
I doe hereby make and ordaine this to be my last will
and testament In wittness whereof I have hereunto sett
my hand and seale and have published and declared the
same to be my last will and testament the day and yeare
first above writteing
